How to Use
If tint comes into contact with the skin, apply a few drops of RefectoCil® Tint Stain Remover to a cotton pad and gently wipe the area until clean.
Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water.
If Brows Become Too Dark
The depth of brow color depends on the processing time and how porous the brow hairs are. If the brows become darker than desired:
Immediately apply Tint Stain Remover to a cotton pad.
Gently wet the brows with the remover.
Allow it to sit for a few minutes.
Wipe clean to help stop the activation process.
Important: This should be done immediately after tinting for the best chance of lightening the color.
Correcting Tint Mistakes
Even experienced professionals occasionally need to adjust or correct eyebrow color. Here are a few simple ways to address common tinting issues.
If the Color Is Uneven
Uneven tinting can occur when the product isn’t distributed evenly throughout the brow hairs.
Reapply the tint evenly to the lighter areas.
Allow it to process for a shorter period, checking the color every 1–2 minutes.
Remove the product once the color matches the rest of the brow.
If Tint Stains the Skin
Skin staining often fades naturally within a few hours. For quicker correction:
Apply a small amount of RefectoCil® Tint Stain Remover to a cotton pad.
Gently wipe the stained area until the stain lightens.
Avoid rubbing too firmly to help prevent skin irritation.
Pro Tips for Best Results
Apply tint in both directions to thoroughly coat each brow hair.
Start timing once the brows are fully covered.
For clients with very light or porous hair, check the color every 2 minutes.
When in doubt, start lighter. You can always deepen the color with a second application.
